6 PLACES TO SHOP FOR AFRICAN CLOTHES

Hey y'all!

My name is Candra Reeves and I am the proud owner of the blog CancanRoynelle.com. I am Liberian-American and I love my African heritage. With that comes the beautiful African prints and pieces. The vibrant colors and captivating patterns within the prints are the reasons why I have never shied away from African pieces.

Every time I wear one of my many African garbs, the questions always come flooding in. For me, a lot of my African clothes come straight from Liberia (or are gifted to me) and are not always so readily available for others to quickly purchase. So, as Spring is approaching, I want to share with you a couple of places that I love so you too can be stylish in African. So, look no further to find 6 shops to buy African clothes.

Grass-Fields

This skirt is the skirt that I bought to wear to my brother’s college graduation. It was my first African purchase that I bought with my own money. Most of my clothes have usually been given to me and this is definitely a favorite of mine.

The great thing about this skirt is that it has pockets! This is a common theme that you'll see in my skirts and dresses. This is one of my favorites because I love the incorporation of the different fabrics, some of which I've grown up around. It adds the perfect touch of nostalgia. You can check the way I styled this skirt here and see the other way that I styled on the blog here. Check out Grass-Fields if you want great pieces that are beautiful!

Veroex

I stumbled across this store on Etsy when I was trying to figure out what to wear to my friend’s wedding. I procrastinated until the last minute, of course, and ordered the dress a week and a half before I left for the wedding! It got here on time and it fit perfectly! I got all the compliments when I wore this dress. And you can see why; it's just a gorgeous design and print!

I love that this dress is off the shoulder and it has pockets! Veroex has many other designs that I love and can't wait to get my hands on. I can't wait to pull this out again this year when it warms up. Check out the full look here.

Shops that I Can't Wait to Buy From

Lolaster

I have actually followed this blogger for a while and she has since opened her own shop. While I haven't shopped here yet, I love the uniqueness in the designs of the items that she has in her shop. These flare pants are one of my favorite items of hers and I can't wait to get my hands on a pair. Check out Lolaster to buy great pieces!

There are so many great pieces at Flair by IronyofAshi and it is definitely a great place to find great pieces.
